About Nanochon™

Nanochon is an early-stage medical device company developing an innovative implant designed to address one of the most challenging problems in orthopedics: cartilage repair for pre-replacement candidates.
Our focus is on treating focal cartilage lesions (essentially “potholes” in the cartilage surface of joints), a condition that leads to pain, loss of function, and a diminished quality of life.
Currently, patients at this stage face limited options: lifestyle changes and pain management are often no longer effective, and the path forward typically leads toward invasive procedures or joint replacement. Nanochon aims to fill this treatment gap with our Chondrograft™ engineered to provide both immediate mechanical support and long-term repair potential.
Our proprietary technology centers on a fully synthetic, nylon-based composite material that mimics the structure and mechanical properties of natural cartilage. Using advanced 3D printing, we create a highly engineered implant that fits precisely into the damaged area, restoring joint function and serving as a scaffold for tissue repair.
We believe our approach offers advantages over existing surgical techniques, cadaver tissue grafting, and cell therapies by providing a shelf-stable, sterile, off-the-shelf solution that is accessible and scalable. Backed by promising preclinical data and a dedicated team of experts, Nanochon is moving confidently toward human clinical studies and eventual regulatory approval.
